From his website and press releases:

Bret Walton is a Houston based performing songwriter who enjoys success in both secular and Christian music. His song "Three Old Rusty Nails" was recorded by Trinity Broadcasting Network recording artist Mike Purkey, becoming the first single from the very first TBN album. Bret co-wrote "Mama Rocked My Cradle" with Gospel music legend Dottie Rambo and plans to record it on his next album.

Starting his musical journey as a drummer, Bret was the driving force behind two notable "hard rock/heavy metal" bands; Armageddon and Easy Street. He has performed with Rhett Forrester's Riot and Heaven. Additionally, he has shared the stage with Pantera, Roxx Gang, Hellstar, and other national acts.

Diversity and an overall love for music have sustained Bret after the passing of the heavy metal years. His true roots are exposed in his debut album "Remember the Roses". The influences of country, Gospel, folk, and rock are self evident in this eclectic collection of songs. You are invited to listen to the songs and read the revealing insights at http://www.bretwalton.com/listen.htm

Bret records on his own label, Windswept Records and self publishes under Rain, Wind, & Music, an ASCAP affiliated company. "Remember the Roses" was recorded entirely in Bret's digital home studio. A well rounded musician, he played all the instruments and sang some of the backup vocals on the album. Having the studio, Bret is available for station I.D.'s, phone interviews, and other promotional endeavors with minimum effort.

Bret Walton just recorded and relased his latest song "Osama Run Home to Your Mama" for radio station airplay from his upcoming CD "Remember the Roses". The album is dedicated to the memory of every American life lost on September 11, 2001. Ask your favorite adult or country radio station to play his song, or listen to DFSX for the song to come up about 2-3 times a day.
