The show went on taping at about 1:40 and ending about 2:10AM! Thatʹs what Dennis Miller called pacing! Actually, Daylight Saving Time ended during the taping and Standard Time resumed at 1AM EST (was 2AM EDT but the clock was set back one hour that minute). It was the first time in SNL history that a live show did not air that same night.
