In 2000, A unidentified woman surprised “Today” show viewers — and host Katie Couric — by opening her shirt and baring her breasts on the air. The flasher struck at about 8:30 a.m. as a camera panned a crowd of tourists and passers-by gathered outside the showʹs Rockefeller Center studio. “Today” quickly cut to Couric at the Republican convention in Philadelphia, where she had been watching on a monitor.
