Proving that he is indeed the quiz show king, Jennings slam-dunked the Final Jeopardy! category of “Royalty,” providing the correct response to “This king was the great-grandfather of Franceʹs King Louis XV.” Jenningsʹ reply? “Who is Louis XIV?” (Duh.) The response earned Jennings another $7,499 and a place in the record books. The 30-year-old software engineer from Salt Lake City began his journey to celebrity geekdom on June 2.
