Wacky Packages - 1980s Sticker Release Summary [1980-1989]
aka Original Series 17
This is not an actual set. It doesn't exist in the real world. From extensive researching,
Wacky Packages have been sporadically releasing new and unreleased stickers during the 1980s;
they have, however, released a set featuring new stickers in 1985, which does not count in this set.
If this collection of stickers offically released during the 1980s decade by Topps existed,
this is what it would look like what I would dub the Original Series 17 set.
Here's a list of stickers that were released during the year, what years in brackets they were
released and what sets they came out of. In the case of Wacky Can Labels, I'll list the new titles that would
or would not be released as stickers in later years. Technically, the 12 Wacky product titles in the Can Label
series counts towards the unique Wacky title chronology. Though the "Aquax" Wacky title is slightly altered due to the
original design layout of "Ajax" cleanser changing, this becomes a new design for the year 1980.
For easy location, the original numbers for the stickers are seen. The numbers in parenthesis would be my faux numbering for this
non existant Original Series 17 set.
Once again, the Wacky Packages 1985 set is not included; it is, however, subtitled "Original Series 18".
