In 2005, Actress Ruth Warrick died at age 88. She brilliantly played Phoebe Tyler Wallingford in All My Children for 35 years. Her other soap roles included Hannah Cord in Peyton Place, Janet Johnson in The Guiding Light, and Edith Hughes in As the World Turns.

In 2008, Sabine Singh last aired as Greenlee Smythe on All My Children. Rebecca Budig returned to the role on January 16. ABC created an promo that announced "the real Greenlee returns to All My Children" and began airing it while Singh was still in the role. Poor taste.
