A two-time Emmy Award winner for his role on TVʹs “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” he also starred in the series “Too Close for Comfort” and “The Ted Knight Show.” He also had a bit part in Alfred Hitchcockʹs 1960 thriller “Psycho,” as well as a role in the comedy “Caddyshack.” He died on August 26, 1986.
