You are at the section Creating CSS Colorful Link Buttons
Other Colors to Try
You could recode the CSS lines to change the border color, background color and text color
of the link, hover, visited and clicked links.
Be sure not to use color combinations that contrast so low that people won't be able
to read the button text. Use a light background with a dark text or a dark background
with a light text. Use a light border if your button is on a dark background.
For visited links, for light backgrounds, use a slightly darker but noticable
color but not so much as to interfere with the contrast difference between the text
and the background.
For dark backgrounds, use a slightly lighter color for visited links.
For buttons with the same color hue, be sure you use brightnesses that contrast
between the background and text well enough for the text to be readable.
