Step 1: Creating the HTML Template

The simplest way to create a CSS-powered HTML button that will change color as people hover and click over it is to use the <style> and </style> tag enclosure within the <head> and </head> section of the HTML page.

First, create this HTML template like this:

</head>
<body>
</body>
</html>

Then save it as linktestpage.htm
