2014-00-00 ShopNBC was rebranded as ShopHQ.
2014-02-01 Sundance Channel was rebranded as Sundance TV.
2014-02-25 Time Warner Cable SportsNet LA (Los Angeles) was launched. The name was changed to Spectrum SportsNet LA in 2016 after Charter purchased Time Warner Cable.
2014-06-09 The Fox Movie Channel name was dropped; the channel's early morning and daytime lineup (3am - 3pm Eastern) was renamed as FXM Retro.
2014-06-31 The Hub began to phase in a new branding as The Hub Network.
2014-07-07 The Biography Channel was rebranded as FYI.
2014-08-14 SEC Network by ESPN was launched.
2014-12-15 WGN America was converted from a superstation feed to a basic cable channel.
As of that date, it no longer carried any local, syndicated or sports programming that airs in the Chicago market on WGN-TV, while
WGN-TV doesn't carry WGN America's original series for the most part.
2014-12-31 G4 signed off.
