Eight is Enough Season Two 1977 - 1978

Dates are mostly from memory, but can be off a week or two. Firstrun dates usually follow a pattern of Sep-Dec, then 2-week reruns in late Dec, then firstruns Jan-early Mar, reruns, then May firstruns. #10 Is There a Doctor in the House?

  • Dr. Max shows up on Tom's doorstep after a fight with his wife and ends up staying with the Bradfords, driving them crazy with his fussy ways.
  • David tries to borrow money from his brothers and sisters to cover a bad check he wrote at a poker game to cover a debt.
  • Tom and Dr. Max hit the town in a search for new women.

Unfortunately, the kids get into a melee when Susan punches a heckler at David and Tommy's singing appearance and Tom has to remortgage the house to pay the damages as seven of his children were arrested after a fight in the nightclub.
  • David waits for the results of his contractor's exam.
  • Nicholas felt left out since he was never arrested.
