Huertas' impressive resume reflects his remarkable acting range. Best known for his recurring role as Antonio on UPN's "Moesha," starring Brandy, Huertas is equally comfortable in dramatic roles. In "Buddy Boy," an independent film that premiered recently at Cannes, he played a heroin addict. With Ernie Hudson and Ice-T in HBO's "Stealth Fighter," set to premiere in October, he played the first officer in command of a submarine.
Huertas appeared in the role of Paulo the gigolo in the Woody Allen feature, "Picking Up the Pieces," starring Sharon Stone and Woody Allen.
His other television and film credits include "Jag," "Beverly Hills, 90210," "Why Do Fools Fall In Love" and "Executive Decision."
Jon's other interests include singing in his four-member a cappella music group, Shades of One; and performing Shakespeare and other classic works for children in the L.A. Classic Theatre Company.
Living in Los Angeles with his two Basenji dogs, Isna and Cairo, Huertas considers himself a "recreational jock."
