Sabrina Coincidences

From The Ant Farmer as published in the June 1, 2003 edition of the San Diego Union-Tribune:

Seven years of casting spells, beating a few demons here and there, and starring a cute blond with three words in her name playing a teenager in high school and later college and adult life, with her series starting out on one network and moving to another in its lifetime, and coming to an end during the May TV sweeps.

Am I talking about Sarah Michelle Gellar's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" or Melissa Joan Hart of "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch?" What a strange coincidence!

Note: in another strange sense of timing, on the cover of the "Parade" insert the following week was...Melissa Joan Hart! Just about had a Hart attack over these weird supernatural senses of timing!

Celebrity Meeting Coincidences

In 1989, I met Alan Young at a Nickelodeon display in a shopping mall where I saw a replica of the Mr. Ed horse and stable.

In the 80s, David Leisure attended Grossmont College at the same time I did, but never met.

In the fall of 1975, Rupaul Andre Charles (yes, THAT Rupaul) first attended Patrick Henry High School the same season I first attended. Unlike RuPaul, I stayed the whole three years being the ostrasized student with nobody I have in common with.

In the summer of 1982, I saw Douglas Sheehan at a celebrity meeting.

I wrote and received an autograph picture of Karen Witter sometime around 1992.

I wrote to Paula Abdul in 1992. I received a fan club kit shortly.

I wrote to Brian Austin Green in 1991. I received a fan club kit shortly.

I wrote an e-mail to Danny Bonaduce in 1997 when he once worked at WMVP 1000 in Chicago in 1997. He never replied.

What do they all have in common? They later appearred as guest stars during the run of "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" from 1996-2003.

Also, I saw "Weird Al" Yankovic in concert in 1984. He guest voiced in a 1999 episode of "Sabrina: The Animated Series."

Furthermore, Melissa appeared in underwear along with Yasmine Bleeth, Alyssa Milano, Jamie Luner, and other ladies inside the October 1997 issue of "Details" magazine. I met Yasmine in 1995 and wrote to Alyssa in 1988. Jamie visited my Yasmine websection sometime in circa 2000. Other ladies were Peta Wilson, Garcelle Beauvais, Carman Electra, and Jeri Ryan.

If that's not enough, even Mila Kunis has worked with stars I saw, wrote to, or met such as Brooke Shields, Yasmine Bleeth, Tim Reid, Thomas Chong, Dick Van Patten, Wally Wingert, and even Valerie Bertinelli.

Sarah Michelle Gellar? Try Walt Willey, Richard Lawson, Betty Buckley, Cady McClain, Kelly Ripa, Susan Lucci, Alicia Silverstone, and Wally Wingert. She was on "All My Children" from 1993-95 during the time.

And, yes, Mila and Sarah worked with Melissa in one episode of "Robot Chicken" in 2005. Melissa guested on Mila's show "That 70's Show".

Mila and Sarah had each of the parents from "Eight is Enough" guesting on their respective shows.

You figure this out. I quit!
