03-28-1989: Dave asks the 6A page Susan Santomauroto try to visit Joan Collins, who's waiting in the green room across the hall for an appearance on Live-at-Five (Dave to Susan: "Joan looks older in person"), but Collins' security goons push her away.

03-28-1990: During Opening Remarks, Dave tells a news joke, then leaves the studio and walks to to the NBC Newsroom, where he exchanges cue cards with Tom Brokaw.

03-28-1990: Top Ten Least Popular Artificial Insemination Clinics - 7. International House of Zygotes.

03-28-1991: Hal Gurnee officially welcomes the new Spring by opening his top shirt button.

03-28-1994: Top Ten Signs You're In Love With Barbra Streisand - 9. You refuse to buy People magazine because you think they ripped off the title from her song.

03-28-1996: CBS Mailbag: (1) cabbie deodorant joke; (2) Dave sends a fan his picture and the fan uses it as a table stop; (3) Dave's Wine-Flavored Beverage is dangerous; (4) Dave goes to Yankee Stadium and steals home plate for the set.

03-28-1996: Cliff Sussman, President of the Late Show Set Fan Club, comes onstage to touch Dave's desk and hug a wall. Uptown, ears are burning.

03-28-1996: Top Ten Things Bob Dole Could Do To Lose the Republican Nomination.

03-28-1997: Billy Bob Thornton, director of "Slingblade," presents the Top Ten Good Things About Winning an Academy Award, including "10. People used to ask me, 'Who the hell are you?' Now they ask me, 'Who the hell are you, Oscar boy?'"

03-28-1997: CBS Mailbag: (1) an extra announcer sits in with Alan; (2) Dave swallowed a tooth and a lighter? (3) "What's It Like To Clean Up After Dave"; (4) staffers' daughters appear (Girl Scout cookie time), including Leonard Tepper.

03-28-1997: Dave stumps the band.

03-28-2000: "Decaf coffee: Ewwwwwwwwwwww."

03-28-2000: Campaign 2000 includes "What's the Deal with Old Guys and Giant Glasses?" and a couple decaf coffee phrases ("oh boy--it sucks" and "worse than bypass surgery"). Sponsors are Heart Bypass Surgery and Gene Keady ("Purdue basketball: it will comb you over").

03-28-2000: Cold Start: Paul tells Henry Kissinger that Dave's hosting the show today, so Henry doesn't need to.

03-28-2000: Dave's cabbie wanted to stop for coffee, apparently.

03-28-2000: The external camera is at the Hello Deli; Dave interviews Rupert about his job, and we watch Rupert assemble a Paul Shaffer Sandwich. Rupert brings it in to the theater and Paul tries it.
