11-01-1991: Paul has the hiccups, so Dave has him drink Drano and gives him shock treatment.

11-01-1993: Dave hails Gabriel Bangura's taxicab (#4D16), and all night long, our guests and audicne members get a ride around the block

11-01-1993: James Earl Jones reminds us (via telephone) to turn our clocks back

11-01-1993: Multi-instrumentalist Tom "Bones" Malone and saxophonist Bruce Kapler are the new members of the CBS Orchestra, replacing keyboardist Bernie Worrell. Bruce's absences from the show since today: zero. By the end of the show, Jay Thomas is in a pumpkin pie fight with Dave and Martha Stewart.

11-01-1995: "New Books" include Elizabeth Taylor's _Hips & Husbands_, a Simpson juror's _I'm an Idiot_, _The Audubon Guide to Baldwins_, and Michael Jackson's _Where the Hell Am I From_? Meanwhile, "Pants Across America" finds Casey Kasem at Mt. Rushmore.

11-01-1996: "Friday Night on the Road" begins this month in Boston, as Michael Hirsch, aka "The Bar," makes his stunning transformation from dorm geek to BMOC.

11-01-1996: Paul leaves early, and Dave chases him down; he's rowing with the Boston University crew.

11-01-1996: Stupid Human Tricks: (1) "jumps rope" using arms for a rope; (2) divides gum ball in eight using mouth; (3) puts a spoon up his/her nose and eats with it; (4, bonus) spins a tack on a penny on a straw on his nose.

11-01-1996: Top Ten Things That Sound Cool With a Boston Accent - 4. "The Bar" is wicked bizarre.

11-01-1999: "A Day in the Life of Pat Buchanan" bit. Also, we get to see the Taco Bell talking dog ("Funkalicious", etc.) several times.

11-01-1999: Top Ten Al Roker Recurring Nightmares.

11-01-2000: After the Halloween parade, Dave rants about having parades in NY every weekend of the summer. According to Dave, the Halloween parade was drunk adults in silly costumes. People there were dressed like they were going to work, except with blinking horns on their heads?

11-01-2000: Guest Alec Baldwin doesn't like the fact that Nader could be a spoiler in the upcoming election.

11-01-2000: The current issue of "Entertainment" magazine has a big article on cue card boy Inky. (In the photo of him "hil[l]arious" is misspelled on the cue card.)

11-01-2000: This new segment to be featured in both Sports Illustrated & Scientific American? Biff is on the roof of the Ed Sullivan Theater building. (He no longer has a cast on.) He has a basket of old balls (5 years old?) and some new ones. He drops an old one first, then a new one. They bounce the same? (I believe these were baseballs.) Later, pro ballplayer Benny Agbayani (sp?) joins Biff on the roof and drops a ball that hits a metal plate and barely bounces--whoops.

11-01-2000: Top Ten Gallup Polltaker Pet Peeves - 5. The hourly calls from Ralph Nader asking, "Am I winning yet?" Sponsor is Les Moonves, who enjoys golfing, horse back riding, etc. "Back to you, duckface." Closing sponsor is Les Moonves; we get a clip of him acting, etc. "Back to you, you giant sack of manure."

11-01-2000: We see the clip of GWB wiping his glasses on Maria's outfit during a meeting at Dave's desk (from 10/19). Later, we see a clip of Alec Baldwin putting his gum on Maria's outfit during a commercial break.
