10-31-2000: Coming out of the last commercial break, the band is playing Steve Allen's "Gravy Waltz".

Later, when saying how he'll be remembered by his peers ("he had trouble talking sometimes"), Dave does a high-pitched imitation of Leno. Later, he does it again. ("On Dave's show they had a guy who ate too much candy--it makes no sense.")

10-31-2000: Dave went to the dentist today. There's something in his mouth that's keeping him from talking; he has to talk around it.
10-31-2000: George Clarke is in the furnace room. For Halloween, he's gonna see how many candy bars he can eat before the end of the show. He starts out with a Twix. Later in the segment he's on the floor in pain after only four candy bars. In show segment 4, he's OK and on #13. (It was just acid reflux.)
