12-19-1995: Top Ten Good Things About A Blizzard In New York City - 2. A large bear reported to be rooting through trash cans turns out to be Andy Rooney in a fur coat.
12-19-1996: "New Christmas Toys" bit, including Biff with a motorized hula hoop. Also, Dave passes out hams and wishes us a wonderful holiday season.
12-19-1996: Top Ten Christmas Movies Playing in Times Square.
12-19-1997: "The Japanese cartoon that made people sick" airs, turns Paul's hair grey. Was that Pokemon by any chance? Yes, I believe Dave called it "Pocket Monsters" on the show. In Japan Poke'mon was an extreamly popluar show. (like In the US) and when they were done they sent it over here to market products toys and games.
12-19-1997: CBS Mailbag: (1) Dave as Secret Santa; (2) Dave's not photogenic; (3) Dave got James Brown (or was it Hanson?) to sign his boxer shorts; (4) "Dave and Sandy Letterman's Annual Hawaiian Holiday Spectacular".
12-19-1997: From the audience, Tom from Staten Island comes on stage, says "Bond, James Bond", and gets a Christmas gift.

12-19-2000: Guests: Darlene Love does "Christmas Baby Please Come Home" with the United States Air Force Singing Sergeants and fake snow. Tom Hanks enters suspended by cables--he "parachutes" down. He's wearing a black suit. Apparently, at age 20, he played Santa. Dave complains to him about the Space Station being too bright; Tom says it's a beacon of humanity.
12-19-2000: Special show: the entire theater audience is servicemen and servicewomen, and the show is beamed by satellite to servicepeople in Tuzla, Bosnia. Dave is played over to the desk with "Stars and Stripes Forever".
12-19-2000: The bumpers going to and from commercials are Tuzla servicemen and servicewomen sending wishes to loved ones.
12-19-2000: There's a special "Task Force Eagle" backdrop behind Dave's desk. (We find out that Task Force Eagle is 2 Navy, 15 Marines, 1100 Air Force, and 4800 members of the Third Infantry Division.)
12-19-2000: Top Ten Holiday Traditions in the Military [Home office: Eagle Base, Tuzla, and the list is read by servicemen/women there] - 5. You open a gift and surprise: it's a khaki colored shirt.
12-19-2000: Via satellite, we see that Biff is there in Tuzla, dressed in fatigues. (He was in the Army in Vietnam for 13.5 months.) We see a videotaped tour of Tuzla with Biff.
