12-20-1996: Top Ten Ways I, Dave Letterman, Am Getting Ready for the Holidays - 6. Shopping like crazy for my two lovely children, Cody and Cassidy.

12-20-1999: Biff shows us the huge full moon. Also, Turkish ping pong guy.

12-20-1999: Campaign 2000 makes its debut. Hillary's office is considering the Late Show's request (for her to be on the show).

12-20-1999: Dave rants about Styrofoam packing peanuts. Also, Will Lee and Michelle O'Callahan each sent Dave stone crabs over the weekend.

12-20-1999: Guests Tom Brokaw (whom Dave gives a few gifts), Alex Kingston, and Run DMC.

12-20-1999: Late Show Christmas Tree finally appears; we see clips of past years' tree-toppers. This year we have Joe G, Mujibur & Sirajul, and Rupert, who put pizza, an ornament, and a meatball on top.

12-20-1999: Top Ten Things You Don't Want To Hear the Morning after Your Office Christmas Party.

12-20-2000: "Small Town News" includes a Yazoo, MS, doctor who does auto repairs too. During the bit, Dave says that staff morale is at an all-time low. Should they hire a motivational speaker? Dave wants Paul to call Montel. Also during the bit, there's a nice "liquid manure" Dr. Pepper joke. Later, Dave drinks some Dr. Pepper to show that it's a fine product--is he OK?

12-20-2000: Cameraman Dave Dorsett is celebrating his 35th anniversary with CBS. He started with the soap opera "The Secret Storm"--we see a still of him 35 years ago. Dave gives him two wrapped "gifts" from under the tree (empty boxes).

12-20-2000: Clinton Classic Joke deals with the types of photos Ken Starr has of Clinton and Lewinsky.

12-20-2000: Extra joke done after the monologue: The White House transition is going smoothly from Pervert to Nitwit.

12-20-2000: In honor of the movie "Cast Away", George Clarke locks himself in the boiler room. A couple of minutes later, he's in bad shape. Later, there's technical trouble, and George can't hear Dave.

12-20-2000: Top Ten Questions George W. Bush Asked President Clinton - 2. "Do you think the young lady could stop that until we're finished talking?"
