05-05-1989: On the last night of Late Night's week-long visit to Chicago, the Ukranian Male Chorus performs Henry Mancini's "Viewer Mail Theme." Mayor Richard M. Daley gives Dave a City Proclamation and a sewer cap.

05-05-1992: Top Ten Horrifying Secrets About H. Ross Perot - 5. Believes Regis and Kathie Lee are talking directly to him.

05-05-1993: Top Ten Signs You're Too Old To Be Living at Home - 8. You sneak in late from a Neil Diamond concert.

05-05-1994: It's National Nurse Registration Week as over 100 nurses appear on stage.

05-05-1995: It's Cinco De Mayo, so the Flying Giant Rat is dressed with a Sombrero. Also, Dave and Drew Barrymore get married.

05-05-1997: "What They're Doing For Ratings Period" bit.

05-05-1997: Dave leaves the show prematurely, prompting Biff to find him serving patrons at Benihaha's.

05-05-1997: On "Leonard Tepper's Hidden Video", Leonard asks for directions.

05-05-1997: Top Ten Reasons Donald Trump and Marla Maples Are Breaking Up - 7. Somehow, his servants and her servants just drifted apart.

05-05-1998: An audience woman is from Galesburg, Illinois, so Dave finds it on a map.

05-05-1998: Fake ad for "The Last Don", then for "The First Don", etc. Also, "Dave's Video Collection".

05-05-1998: The first in a series of parody Broadway performances is introduced tonight with the cast of "Homecoming" singing "Jimmy's Coming Home."

05-05-1998: Top Ten Rejected Mob Euphemisms for Killing a Guy 10. Validate his parking stub. 9. Cancel his subscription to "Life" magazine. 8. Decaffeinating his espresso. 7. Celining his Dion. 6. Moving his show to CBS. 5. Feeding him a Taco Bell death-burrito supreme. 4. Giving him tickets to a John Tesh concert. 3. Introducing him to Lorne Greene. 2. Get him a room at the "I'm-Not-Alive-Anymore" hotel. 1. Killing him.

05-05-1999: "Mother's Day Cards" bit. Also, Top Ten Least Popular Shows on the Discovery Channel.

05-05-1999: Dave has to rush through the segment with Jesse Jackson because he spent too long with the other guest, bass fishing champ Denny Brauer. (Actually, Jackson was late arriving from the airport, and Dave invites him back the following night.)

05-05-1999: Earl Hendrix (an actor who looks like a cowboy) sits in with the band in honor of the Country Music Awards. Also, Dave congratulates Garth Brooks on being the Country Musician of the Decade. Later, we see a "clip" of Roberto Benigni at the Country Music Awards.

05-05-1999: Tonight's Secret Word is "undershirt" for 200 dollars.

05-05-2000: Apparently, the New York State cops pulled Dave over.

05-05-2000: Campaign 2000, starring Maria Pope: Guest Rob Burnett. Dave raves about TIVO and shows an autographed photo of Maria's sister.

05-05-2000: CBS Mailbag: (1) What if Dave were invisible? (2) Harold Larkin gets a (slow) electric car; (3) George Clarke is addicted to hookers; (4) Dave gets in trouble for not paying for his cookies.

05-05-2000: Stupid Human Tricks: (1) swallows hotdogs whole; (2) tries (and fails) to stick beer bottles to his neck; (3) shoots pennies from stomach into a cup. Later, guy #2 gets to re-attempt his.

05-05-2000: The Mighty Mighty Bosstones do a disappointing (hoarse?) rendition of their hit song.

05-05-2000: Top Ten Jockey Pet Peeves, presented in the studio by New York Racing Association Jockeys.
