02-15-1982: The Dave-Cam is introduced: The home viewer sees what Dave sees as he enters the studio from backstage, offers his opening remarks, and interviews "Bert the Human Caboose" (Calvert DeForest).

02-15-1983: Mystery Science Theater creator Joel Hodgson makes his network television debut on Late Night.

02-15-1984: Dave's Record Collection includes "Training Your Parakeet to Talk," "Robert Clary Lives It Up at the Playboy Club," and "Chet Huntley Reports on House of Pancakes."

02-15-1989: Dave calls the telephone booths on the street, but no one answers. Later, he goes to Robert Wright's office and tells the NBC chairman to go home.

02-15-2000: Late Show 2000: Comedy Under Siege* continues with Late Show Backstage #7, with host David Brenner.

02-15-2000: Late Show Backstage guests Kathie Lee Gifford, who talks about her "war" over the sweatshop kids, and Alec Baldwin.
