02-22-1979: Dave guests on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson for the third time. Afterwards he's asked to guest-host the show the following March.

02-22-1982: Students from P.S. 84 present "Little Acorns," a playlet about George Washington.

02-22-1983: It's February 22 Reunion Day: Guests from last year's February 22-- Jessica Savitch, Simon Bond, and students from P.S. 84 -- come back on the show and share wonderful memories.

02-22-1984: NBC Science Correspondent Robert Bazell introduces Late Night's latest state-of-the-art achievement: Reverse-Image Television. At the allotted moment, the image on the screen is inverted. The Peace Through Dramatization Players pay tribute to tonight's historic breakthrough with "March Through Progress: A Salute to Reverse Image TV"; Dave and Paul walk out the studio into the murky unknown, but Paul feels a little whoozy and has to return.
