04-10-1985: Chris performs his last "Guy Under the Seats," "The Great White Whale," and Dave later offers Chris a video retrospective.

04-10-1986: After too many delays, bumps, and fake NBC bulletins, Chris Elliott finally presents his first "Regulator Guy" segment. Tonight, in an episode called "XPR-12: The Mutilator," while Chris is hoisted in the air to stop a mugging on stage, Peter Allen makes a surprise walk-on to plug his new Broadway musical. Chris is left dangling and curses out Dave under his breath.

04-10-1990: Top Ten Things that Will Get You Audited - 10. Using one of those "love" stamps. 9. Have taxes done by stupid, incompetent H. Block instead of by smart, reliable R. Block.

04-10-1991: Top Ten Shocking Revelations in Kitty Kelly's Biography of Dave Thomas, Founder of Wendy's - 5. Would drop pants at board meetings whenever someone said, "Where's the beef?" 4. Claims Prince's song "Raspberry Beret" is actually about him.

04-10-1992: Top Ten Attractions at the New Euro-Disney - 3. Neo-Nazis of the Caribbean. 8. Huey, Louie, and Dewey Menage a Trois.

04-10-1995: Dave invites the Standby Audience to his office and watch the show from there. Later, they're joined by Faye Dunaway and chef Wolfgang Puck.

04-10-1995: Top Ten Signs You've Hired A Bad Accountant - 3. On the 1040, he lists your occupation as "sucker."

04-10-1996: "Bob Dole's Background Check" bit.

04-10-1996: Biff is still under the hypnotic spell of Marshall Sylver as he laughs uncontrollably at anything Dave says.

04-10-1996: Top Ten Signs Your Accountant Is Nuts.

04-10-1997: A rare appearance by Zeesho, the World's Only Performing Cow.

04-10-1997: Dave brings a guy out of the audience; the guy has a T-shirt with Dave's face on it.

04-10-1997: Top Ten Ways to Make Golf More Exciting - 6. Have a minister, a priest, and a rabbi play -- that always turns out hilarious.

04-10-1997: Yankees center fielder Bernie Williams plays guitar with the band. Also, a fake video ad: "Crazy Paul's Cult of Fun"--see www.crazypaul.com.

04-10-1998: CBS Mailbag: (1) the microphone is a beer tap; (2) Paul works the drive-thru of "Paul-Burger"; (3) Biff Henderson's cartoon "North Park" (one of my favorite bits); (4) "Buzz Aldrin" on the Ed Sullivan roof.

04-10-1998: CBS Mailbag: A viewer asks if Dave has any plans to air his show from the space shuttle. In response, Lunar Astronaut Buzz Aldrin is seen hitting golfballs on the Ed Sullivan Office roof.

04-10-1998: Dave's mom calls and says she got him a $15 gift certificate to the Gap. Also, Top Ten Ways the World Would Be Different If It Were Run by Jerry Springer.

04-10-2000: "Why They Didn't Fill Out Their Census Forms" bit.

04-10-2000: Biff Henderson's "Sopranos Clip of the Night" has a bad picture, as he doesn't get HBO.

04-10-2000: Campaign 2000, starring Maria Pope: Richard Simmons canceled.

04-10-2000: Dave rants about Oprah being on the cover of every issue of her new magazine. Later, it's the Top Ten Articles in Oprah's New Magazine.

04-10-2000: Guest Bill Cosby ties a bow tie and taste-tests coffee; he successfully identifies the one with caffeine, and later kisses Dave on the cheek.

04-10-2000: Sid McGinnis is back in the band after being out for a couple of weeks.

04-10-2000: Thankfully, this looks like the last day of the decaf coffee jingles.

04-10-2000: We see the McCain "please get out of here" clip.

04-10-2002: Happy Birthday Ball 'o' Disco Bumper Boy.
