04-27-1982: Dave interviews Mr. Bill: "I'm talking to a wad of clay, folks."

04-27-1983: Hal interrupts Dave's chat with Shelley Winters to announce he's not feeling well, so Dave takes him to the NBC Nurse's office. Hal lies down on one of the beds and directs the show from there, and Playboy Playmate of the Year Marianne Gravatte drops by to cheer him up.

04-27-1989: After the show ends, NBC signs off by playing the National Anthem. Dave interrupts the feed to remind the network that it'll be broadcasting all night.

04-27-1990: Maury Povich narrates a special "Current Affair" exclusive on how Dave and his seven wives bankrolled Libya's gas plant.

04-27-1990: Top Ten Iraqi Nicknames for George Bush - 9. Satan's Lambada partner.

04-27-1993: Top Ten Tips for the New "Late Night" Host - 10. A drugged guest is a well-behaved guest. 2. When all else fails, just say "Buttafuoco."

04-27-1994: Throughout the show: clips from the Made-for-TV movie drama on the Menendez brothers, including a court scene with their least-known brother, Zeppo.

04-27-1995: The Flying Rat is introduced on the show during a segment called "What's New for Spring." The rat will be given away to a couple headed for London the following couple of weeks. The couple is never seen again; the rat now rests inside a staffer's office.

04-27-1998: Dave and Rupert meet with some ad people and make a commercial for the Hello Deli.

04-27-1998: Dave talks about the creepy mechanical baby on Ally McBeal.

04-27-1998: Dave tries to get an audience guy to shave his beard, but he's had it for 25 years. He gets a free Hello Deli sandwich.

04-27-1998: San Diego Chargers Quarterback Ryan Leaf and Dave leave the theater and aim footballs at a nearby manhole.

04-27-1998: The Guy on Fire is sponsored by Kraus Chiropractic of Iowa.

04-27-1998: Top Ten Rejected Replacements for Seinfeld - 7. Colors Bars That Will Still Beat Whatever's On CBS.

04-27-1999: Dave talks to Secret Word winner Marlene Benedetto and gives her a $2600 check. Tonight's Secret Word is "hat" for 100 dollars.

04-27-1999: Film of Biff Henderson's "Ball Get Out of My Nachos", expanded.

04-27-1999: Guests include 18-year-old Michelle Williams ("Dawson's Creek").

04-27-1999: Top Ten Horses Least Likely To Win the Kentucky Derby.

04-27-2000: Campaign 2000, with Maria Pope: Rob Burnett is on via satellite and has nothing.

04-27-2000: Know Your Current Events player Derek (a big guy from Idaho in the health club business) plays Know Your Janet Reno Eyeglasses.

04-27-2000: On "Bring Your Daughter To Work Day", Alan brought his big German daughter?
