04-28-1982: Since drummer Steve Jordan is leaving for three weeks for a tour in Japan, Dave recruits an audience member, Mary Lou Gajdosik, to sit in for him while he's gone. She and the band play "Wipe Out."

04-28-1986: Late Night continues its month-long display of objects from the Museum of Natural History. This week: a king and queen termite.

04-28-1987: Advertisements appear on the the Thrill-Cam this week. Tonight: Budweiser. Later, in tribute to President James Monroe's birthday, the Peace Through Dramatization Players present "Birthday of Joy, Birthday of Terror."

04-28-1989: Biff interrupts Dave and asks if he needs a sidekick. Dave says no, so Biff leaves the studio and tells Ed McMahon.

04-28-1992: Dave calls 1992 National Whistling Champion Sean Lomax, who whistles, almost in full, the first movement to Beethoven's Fifth Symphony.

04-28-1992: Top Ten Signs New York City Is Not a Failure - 8. Stolen bicycle statistics reflect large number of health-conscious criminals.

04-28-1993: Top Ten Ways Clinton Can Improve His Approval Rating - 8. Move the Canadian border a few feet per day until by 1996 - voila! No more Canada!

04-28-1994: Tony Randall and Mandy Patinkin run into the theater and ask Dave if they can rehearse a song. Granted, Mandy performs "Over the Rainbow."

04-28-1997: A video of Dave and 3 women celebrating Spring somehow includes Bob Saget.

04-28-1997: Fake "Dukes of Hazzard" clip. Also, Dave mocks the movies "Outbreak" and "Invasion" all night long.

04-28-1997: Rupert Jee drops by to make an announcement: "America, I am a lesbian."

04-28-1997: Top Ten Things Overheard During "Celebrity Jeopardy" - 10. I'll take "Questions So Easy Even a Celebrity Has a Chance" for $1,000, Alex.

04-28-1998: "A Day in the Life of Dave" includes Regis, Tony Randall, and Dave copying his ass.

04-28-1998: Actor "Blue Moon" Watts sits in with the band and pretends to play the saxophone.

04-28-1998: The Guy on Fire is sponsored by Feline Pine natural cat litter.

04-28-1998: Top Ten Ways Saddam Hussein Celebrated His 61st Birthday.

04-28-1999: "Pedestrian Theme Songs" bit.

04-28-1999: Tonight's Secret Word is "boat" for 200 dollars.

04-28-2000: Campaign 2000, with Maria Pope: Maria tells a story about a guy caught stealing a video.
