01-02-1985: "Brush with the Law" includes audience participants Geri De Esposito, who broke into the house next door; Scott Kreiger, who went to an X-rated Drive-In; and Suzanne Brausen, who stole a banana.

01-02-1995: Dave invites three guys from the Standby Audience to remove the show's Christmas tree. They take it outside, hail a cab, and are last seen dumping it in New Jersey.

01-02-1995: Top Ten Things Overheard in Times Square on New Year's Eve - 2. You know, Dr. Elders, 'Stroke of Midnight' is just an expression.

01-02-1996: At the show start, Dave enters preceded by cheerleaders.

01-02-1997: Top Ten President Clinton's New Year's Resolutions - 9. Make history as first President to veto a bill while up to his chin in gravy. (closing music: "Revolution").

01-02-1998: All night long, it's "Comedy from Around the World" with Lehai Fan-Bula (sp?) from Monrovia, Liberia, telling jokes in his native tongue. Later, Dave exhibits "Snacks from Around the World" to go with the jokes.

01-02-1998: CBS Mailbag: (1) Confetti from shredded Whitewater documents; (2) fake clip has Clinton saying nice stuff about the Late Show; (3) Pat Farmer models "Dave's One-Piece (Jump)Suit"; (4) Dave calls the movie phone guy.

01-02-1998: Guests Kevin Kline, Kevin Sorbo, and Kevin Brennan. There's a special graphic for the "All Kevin Spectacular" show. Kevin Spacey is the backup guest in the green room. Top Ten Ways the World Would Be Different If Everyone Were Named Kevin.

01-02-1998: Inky takes a picture of an audience woman with Dave and Paul.

01-02-2002: I'd like to be the last to wish you a Happy New Year. Not really, but I'm wondering how long Dave will use this expression this year. Anyone interested in a contest to guess when he last says "Happy New Year", or something like it, on the show?
