01-26-1984: Viewer Mail: Pat Sajak and Vanna White appear in a clip from "Wheel of Fortune" as panelists struggle with the puzzle that so far reads "Dav_ Letterman."

01-26-1985: Some of the early LNDL anniversary shows were blockbusters. Here's #3 from 1/26/85: - Viewer Mail - Late Night Baby Gifts - guests from the last three years - Letterman's dog film - Stupid Pet Tricks (dog buying beer, dog that goes crazy over TV) - running over and dropping stuff - Larry Bud interviewing on the street - remotes from the last three years - DL goes under water in an Alka Seltzer suit - rolling downstairs in a barrel - dogsled races in the hallway on 6th floor - DL in the suit of Velcro - to the hospital for the Late Night baby (hosted by Vince McMahon, I believe -- didn't check tape) - staff segments - the father of the Late Night baby

01-26-1985: It's Late Night's 3rd Anniversary Special, featuring the Hospital Babies Contest, where Vince MacMahon and Bob Costas report on the first baby to be born in competing NYC hospitals. The winner: Shaun Michael Feury, born at New York Hospital. (He's now 14 years old.) At the end of the show, Costas, surrounded by hospital doctors and nurses, signs off with, "Meanwhile, the cries of desperately ill men and women go unheeded."

01-26-1996: Conan O'Brien appears on the show to promote his book "If They Mated," offering as an illustration the merging of Dave and Drew Barrymore.

01-26-1996: Dave goes to the "Today" show window and asks "Can I co-host?" Answer: "No thanks, Oscar boy."

01-26-1996: Dave picks the Super Bowl score: Pittsburgh 5, Dallas 2. Also, "What They're Doing for the Super Bowl" tells us what celebrities are doing for the Super Bowl.

01-26-1996: Sparky Mortimer again, this time with the Cowboy cheerleaders, etc.

01-26-1996: Top Ten Highlights of Hillary Clinton's Grand Jury Appearance - 5. President Clinton showed up with a date.

01-26-1998: "A Closer Look at the White House Scandal" bit.

01-26-1998: Bob Borden covers the Super Bowl, so Sparky Mortimer can actually get some studying done this year.

01-26-1998: Dave points out three women in the audience who have never had sex with Bill Clinton and later interviews Newsweek reporter Michael Isikoff, the man who really broke the Monica Lewinsky story.

01-26-1998: Guests Sarah, the Duchess of York, and Michael Isikoff, who broke the Clinton scandal.

01-26-2000: Rerun guests Danny DeVito, Brett Butler, and John Michael Montgomery.
