Message:I saw Laurie Walters on an episode of "The Love Boat" earlier this week and on an episode of "Highway to Heaven". Both on the PAX Network. If anyone tapes other things that the "Eight Is Enough" cast is on, you may want to watch for these shows to be re-aired. Also, keep an eye on "The Love Boat" episodes because MANY of the cast members guest starred on this show in the seventies. Some of the ones I've seen on there were, Adam Rich, Lani O'Grady, Dick Van Patten, Laurie Walters and Grant Goodeve. I beleive some others also guest starred on that show.

Not long ago I watched a few Episodes Northern Exposure on A&E which Grant Goodeve guest starred in. Also seen him and other EiE cast members on the old Love Boat shows on Paxtv.

Try my Amazon.com bookstore accessed from my Eight is Enough main page. The book is out of print, unfortunately, so you'll have to hope for someone to trade. As for biographies about the cast, I'm fervently pursuing them. Hopefully the fans can respond to me by e-mail and I'll load them up.

I have stood next to Betty Buckley. She is about 5'6', give or take an inch. I think all the female children, except Dianne Kay were shorter.

When I was in high school, along with Card Sharks, 8 Is Enough were my high school shows. Too bad they both got canceled when I graduated (1981). Back then, I kept up with Willie Aames' music career with his real band, Willie Aames & Paradise. I got only a 45 lp single of Willie's music without his band.
Anyway, to the business @ hand. I'm adding the following musical facts on certain 8 Is Enough episodes. Here we go!
#35: The family opens the show dressed as rabbits singing This Is It (Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show theme). Tom & Nicholas do an modern version of Who's On First? Elizabeth dances to Susan's sousaphone playing, Joanie's a clown & Tommy's a magician.
#38: Tommy plays the electric guitar for the first time!
#60: Tijuana Tokyo (Willie Aames & Paradise) sing Blue Moon.
#96: Tommy & Holly sing I'll Learn to Love Again.
#104: Tommy closes the episode doing Why Go On & On With Me.

I am a big fan of Eight Is Enough since I was a kid. I watch it on FX sometime. I am deaf. I remember it had closed captioned during its final season. I wonder if Eight is Enough videos may be sell like The Brady Bunch, Dukes of Hazzard. But the show is my favorite. Thanks so much!

Hello, David. I just discovered your Eight is enough website - great page! I myself am a big Betty Buckley fan, and am always pleased to see her given some respect. I am particularly an avid collector of TV appearances by her - she has appeared and performed on various talk shows through the years - Mike Douglas, Merv Griffin, the Tonight Show, etc. I wonder if you also might collect on her, or have any early appearances by her? I have a pretty big collection, and am always looking for more - and am also happy to share if you're interested. Also, a question for you - I know that Betty sang on two episodes of EiE - The Telethon and the Talent show episodes. Do you know if she sang on any others? I don't think she did, but thought I'd check. I was happy to see that EiE is playing on the FX channel - except that we don't get that here in NYC, dammit.

Do you trade video tapes? I would like to see the first 4-5 episodes of Eight is Enough.
I have 4 episodes of The Brady Bunch Hour (1976-77) to trade and some Facts of Life episodes.
I think I have a video of Dick Van Patten's guest-star appearance on The Facts of Life from 1988, there are also 2 episodes from the same show with Eve Plumb as a girl who wants to be a nun.
