I've been an EIE is enough fan since it began, and I have always been a fan of the
cast members.
I realize that the Star article needs to be taken with a grain of Salt, however some
people heard Susan herself on the radio verifying her own statements.
How can anyone not believe it is true if she admitted it. I'm loyal to the show,
but not blindly loyal to people I don't know. If she admitted it, then it must be
true and we should accept it. In case any of you don't realize this, she is
not SUSAN BRADFORD, she is Susan Richardson, a total stranger to most of us.
Meredith
I've been reading these posts about this article about Susan Richardson, and
although I never read those tabloid magazines and I, too, would tend to take it
with a "grain of salt", just what statements did she make? I havent' seen a
single post where anybody has stated exactly what she said in this article and
in the radio interview.
A Susan Fan
Dear Meredith, i do respect your opinion and i don't profess to personally know
susan richardson. i too started watching eie when i was just 13yrs old.i was a
fan then and still am.
i don't know if there is any truth in the stories or claims. all i do know is that
susan richardson is still a person with feelings and this had to hurt. i try not to
judge people.
no one is perfect. but from what i've read from the messageboard there have
been a lot of cruel remarks toward her. i only hope she is able to rise above it.

I agree with you, Nancy. I'm still not TOTALLY convinced that whatever the article
said was 100% true because those magazines tend to twist people's words around,
but even if it is, then Susan needs our sympathy and prayers, not people judging her.

If it had not been for others hearing Susan telling her story on the radio, I would
think this whole thing was made up by Star. But to me, it looks as if she posed for
the photos contained in the article. I hate to think it, but I guess there's always
a possibility that she could be "selling" this story. Let's face it, the media jumps
on any senstional story concerning a public person whether it's true or false.
I really love "Eight Is Enough" and am a fan of all of the performers on the show,
so I don't want to believe that she's doing it for the money, but it's hard to
ignore the fact that some of them have not been very successful since the end of
the show. And I'm sorry, but if you've been living on berries for a while, you
just might do what you need to in order to eat.
Anyway, if she is, in fact, experiencing a mental breakdown, I hope that she will
get help for herself, or her family and friends will step in and help her. Either
way, I wish only the best for Susan and hope she can work through this.

Support for Susan

I have been reading some of the messages posted on here. I work with Susan Richardson
on Little Nik & Baby Becca's Teddy Bear Club.
Some of the messages posted were heart felt. Susan is going through a tough time now and
your support is needed. She is a great woman and a great friend. I pray that she will
overcome what she is induring now.
I also pray that true EIE fans will stick by her side instead of passing judgement.
Christine Lewis
I will keep Susan in my prayers, during this ordeal and refuse to read or respond
to rumors that are mentioned in tabloids and elsewhere.
Peace.
