Subject: What if There's an Eight is Enough Motion Picture

Message:Ok, you've seen motion pictures of the Brady Bunch and The Addams Family with different actors assuming the roles of the characters the TV actors originated. For obvious reasons, the producers wanted to cast actors to closely match the ages and appearance of the originals as possible.
Let's say you were the movie producer setting out to do Eight is Enough: The Motion Picture, and you put out a casting call for actors and actresses. Obviously, you would cast a 40-something male as Tom and a 30-something female as, let's go with Joan on this project and take this in another direction.
As for the kids, you want a 23-year-old male, followed by the females aged 21, 20, 19, 18, 15, then the son, 14, and finally Nicholas, 8.
Who would you cast in the roles?

Interesting thought. I thought that the girl on Buffy the Vampire Slayer (I think her name is Sarah Michelle Geller) would make a good Nancy. There's a little kid, I think he was in Home Alone III (or whatever the latest version was) who looks exactly like Nicholas. For Elizabeth, I was thinking of the girl who plays Dinah on Promised Land, she kind of reminds me of Connie Needham. A few months ago, I saw an actress on Touched by an Angel who looked a lot like Laurie Walters (I don't know her name either, but the character she played was named Robin), who could play Joanie.

So far the only character I can think of is at this time is Nicholas who could be played by Justin Cooper the kid who was in the movie "Liar, Liar" and some other stuff.

I kind of think Natasha Richardson (Nell, Parent Trap) would make a great Joan Bradford...also the guy from Dharma and Greg..the one who plays Greg. He seems like a pretty good David.
