Greetings:

The month of May was a bit on the hectic side with my car engine getting a
major gasket replacement job. Ouch! At least I didn't need a whole new engine.

After the job, I drove into the desert a few weeks ago and the car overheated
while climbing a hill. It cooled off. The load must have been heavy. There
were no further leaks.

TV had its usual series and season finales. Hard to belive that I watched
90210 for 10 years. Now to think of it, 10 years was 1/4 of my life.

I also found out that a local radio station is using some of my Today in
History data on one of my sites and they like it a lot. Tom Halen runs a
mailing list off of tvbarn.com and he uses some of my bits now and then.

As some visitors may have noticed, I uploaded some of my demented novelty
songs on several of my websites such as Dr. Demento and whatever else I
placed them at random. No word yet whether Dr. Demento will be playing them on
his radio show as I sent the tape a month ago.

A new book has just been published about TV Moms. I received an e-mail last
year about a man who was writing the book and he asked me to supply a line
from Eight is Enough that Abby said that somehow fits what he was looking for.

are profiled. I even got credit on the acknowledgments page. I guess I was a
big help for the author in the need of a line on short notice. :-)

Mothers day for my mom was alright, but I had to work and couldn't stay for the day.

Chocolate for a Young Woman's Soul is now on Amazon and orders are being taken
for an August release. Congratulations to Sarah for one of her stories.

I also was busy working on my Comedy Album store, which is basically an affilliate
site for comedy and novelty CD's of all sorts. You can find the banner on
davesfunstuff.com. One of the groups I saw live, Throwing Toasters, just
released a CD "Burnt" (get it?), a week after Britney Spears released her new
CD, odd timing.

Hi, Dave! Sounds like you've been busy. Sorry about your car. Repairs can be
so expensive! I've had a busy couple of weeks; my hubby and I have been
working on remodeling our kitchen, and hopefully when that's done we'll have
the energy to move on to the dining room. I'll just be happy when it's all
done! How's the weather on the west coast? It's been pretty hot and sticky
here in Pa. and NJ.
